Privacy Notice
Last updated 2026-07-02
This notice covers the early-access waitlist pages at try.vedrolabs.com
(each one testing a not-yet-built app idea) run by Vedro Labs.
It does not cover any already-published app — those apps each have their own
privacy policy linked from their store listing and in-app settings.
Who we are
Vedro Labs is the studio behind these waitlist pages. Contact us any time
at support@vedrolabs.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join a waitlist.
- Optional answers you type in — the "what's your biggest problem with X" prompt and any pricing-preference selection — only if you choose to answer them.
- Page-view events: that a page was viewed, whether it was your first visit in this browser, which A/B headline you saw, the UTM parameters and referrer of the link you arrived from, and your browser's user-agent string. We do not collect your IP address or use cross-site tracking cookies.
Why we collect it (lawful basis)
- Your email: consent — you gave it to us by submitting the form, after reading the notice next to that form. You can withdraw consent (unsubscribe) at any time; see below.
- Aggregate page-view counts: legitimate interest — understanding whether an idea is worth building, without which none of this exists. View events are never linked to your email address; the only shared key is the anonymous "first visit in this browser" flag.
Where it lives
Every submission is written directly to a Google Sheet we operate (via a Google
Apps Script endpoint) — the same infrastructure Google Workspace/Gmail already
runs. We do not use a third-party marketing platform or CRM for this data.
How long we keep it
- Signup rows (your email + any optional answers) for an idea we've decided
not to pursue (killed or parked) are deleted after
12 months.
- Page-view event rows are deleted after 6
months, for every idea (aggregate counts already shown on our internal
dashboard are exported separately before deletion, if we still need the
summary number — the raw rows are what's removed).
- If an idea moves forward and becomes a real app, we only carry forward what's
needed to honor an existing "email me at launch" request — you'll get exactly
the one launch email you signed up for, then nothing further from this list.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase
it, at any time — email support@vedrolabs.com
and we'll action it by hand (this is a small operation; there's no self-service
portal yet). Every confirmation email also includes a one-click unsubscribe link
that stops future emails immediately and flags your row so it's excluded from any
future outreach.
What we never do
- We never sell or share your data with third parties.
- We never use your email for anything except the launch update you signed up for and, if you replied to our confirmation email, following up on that reply.
